A Fundraiser for Disadvantaged Youth hosted by OUR HOUSE Friday, May 20, 2011 (7:00 PM to 10:30 PM) at The Mansion At Strathmore 10701 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, MD.
Our House is a non-profit organization that since 1993 has served abused, abandoned, homeless, and orphaned male youth from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC, providing them a home, carpentry trade, academic education, and a chance at success in life. They also learn organic gardening, beekeeping, and do weekly community service.
Our House is excited to be holding their first annual fundraiser to raise funds to expand by building a new 100% Green self-sustaining dorm. The new dorm will allow Our House to open their doors to more needy youth, increase the number of students they serve, ease the waiting list, and reduce the number of disadvantaged youth who have to be turned away.
CELEBRATING 18 YEARS OF SERVING DISADVANTAGED YOUTH!
